Oh, I should, huh? Yes because you seem so charming. I’m sure I could gain a lot by messaging with you.
because calling a girl a cunt is totally going to get her to dig you.
Also the end of his profile says this:
Lmaoooo. Wow.
Also this:
He was out of bounds to call her a cunt, but he apologised.
Obviously he was offended by the way the woman conducted herself to begin with. NO MATTER THE GENDERS of the people involved, I’d be pretty bothered if I tried messaging someone, warranting no response. Even a “no thanks, I’m not interested” will suffice. ~*~*~GURL POWER~*~*~ isn’t a “be a bitch for free pass”.
“the woman”
Haha.
Anyway. No, it’s a dating site. People ignore messages all the time. My profile even says I reply very selectively. I don’t owe anyone a response just because they graced me with their words.Plus I warned him, I’m always a cunt.
What’s wrong with the term “the woman”? I meant it as a general pronoun. I didn’t call anyone a broad, or, in this case, cunt. I meant it in the way one would say young lady, or girl. Sure, it’s a dating site and you may not owe him a response, but the “fuck you, I’m a bitch/cunt/whatever and I’m proud” isn’t cute either, and is just as much of a turn off as the average nice guy and his self entitled bullshit.
This guy is a douche, I agree, but I can see why maybe he was a little hurt you didn’t answer him back. And he did apologise, at least he realised he was out of line.
There’s nothing wrong with “the woman”, it just made me giggle to see myself referred to as “the woman”. Ish funny.
And yes, he is a douche. People on dating sites don’t answer messages every time, they’re not expected to. And he didn’t apologize. He said he felt like a tool, but then said he did it because I wouldn’t talk to him, like that justifies it.
Look dude, here is how the conversation went. He said hi, I ignored it, he called me a cunt, I agreed with him, he said “I feel like a tool but I had to do it” then I agreed with him again, he is a tool. And believe it or not, not everything I do is to be cute.
I never said ~*~*~everything~*~*~~* you do has to be cute. God forbid I use words with vaguely feminine connotations, that is Oppressive and Bad™. He is a total tool, he had no right to call you a cunt. We are synonymous in our views here. You say you don’t owe people responses because they grace you with words. I don’t owe people thank yous when they do something nice for me, but I guess I try to acknowledge them anyway, because it’s the nice thing to do. Maybe I’m just too polite and well mannered for my own good.
Do you call them cunts when they don’t say “thank you”?
Girl has more willpower than me, I would have assaulted his character.
I really don’t understand. A guy calls a girl a “cunt,” and she’s expected to respond with the utmost politeness and courtesy?
Quit expecting us to roll over and smile when we get treated like shit. We have as much a right as any man to ignore assholes, or to fire right back.
